Daddy's little girl

I was in desperate need of an outing the other Saturday, so Clayton sent me to KFC to pick up a picnic lunch while he loaded up Anna into the bike trailer and got our bikes all set. Then we road down to Lacy Park and had a picnic and played Frisbee Golf and a little Soccer. Anna was our cheerleader. It was such a nice refreshing trip. Just what I needed. Thanks Clayton

Anna's first ER trip, let's hope it's the last?

Anna had a fever seizure, which is apparently really common in little kids. It might have helped if we had known she was going to develop a fever in the middle of the night huh? We heard a weird cryout from her room so Clayton went running in there to find her eyes rolled back in her head and her whole body seizing. It lasted for several minutes and as soon as she stopped we jumped in the car to head to the ER. Poor little thing she cried for at least two hours straight and she was terrified. But all is well and we don't ever want to watch her seize again. These kids, they like to keep us guessing and running. Love her! She was even sweet through all the crying and medicinal torture :)

Congratulations Keyan!

My brother graduated from High School this last month and Anna and I made the journey up to Salt Lake to watch the joyous occasion. What a great kid! I was so proud of him.
Anna and Grandpa waiting for it to start

This is in the car on the way there. Keyan was putting his lip gloss on her too and she was loving it.

She was so proud to sit there all by herself. She had been getting restless and then was so happy to be free and have her own seat.

"I want some too!"
Congratulations Keyan! We are all so proud of you!

The Girl's Hike

We hiked up one of the Cottonwood Canyons to explore a hike for my Mom's young womens group, then we went a little further and had a great time.

The river was raging from all the melting snow and I heard it caused a few troubles a week later, like wiping out people's property and other damage. Crazy, but it was fun while we were there.
Anna was sick so she slept the entire day, and I'm not kidding at all, the entire day. Poor little thing. (Not the greatest pictures of me either but oh well)
Love the cousins!!!

We stopped at an old mill to check it out but there was no bridge to get across so we had to just observe from a distance. It was really cool.

Catch up as opposed to ketchup

My brother Jarek is living out here for the summer so we took a Sunday visit over to his house.
When Clayton was growing up they had a foreign exchange student from the Czech Republic and he was in town a couple weeks ago with his wife. So we all gathered together and I got to meet them too. They were so sweet! Hopefully we'll get to see them again soon.
Pool Party
Clayton was teaching Anna how to float
This is at the San Diego temple. One of Clayton's cousins was getting married
And of course there was the Ayuda dinner where I got to see more pictures of the trips and a farewell to the graduating seniors. This is Clayton with Dr. Machbel

Yosemite trip

Here is day one. And the Yosemite posts are finished. We had so much fun and saw such an incredible place.
Here is the photo shoot spot. You come out of this tunnel and this view hits you in the face. It is almost jaw dropping. Of course the pictures look fake and don't do it justice at all, but WOW!

After we had our little photo shoot, there was a hike right above the view point so Clayton and I decided to try it out. It was really fun and absolutely gorgeous. We probably hiked about a mile up and then the snow got heavier and heavier and then turned into hail. So we turned around and headed back down. Then when we got to the bottom, we realized we were probably almost there. Better safe than sorry though and we still loved it. We saw another waterfall that you couldn't actually see from anywhere else in the park.
The trail was also a river
And I found this cool tree
Here is the tunnel that you come through
This river runs along the bottom of the valley/canyon.
Now you may be wondering, "Hailey, why are you posting so many pictures of the same waterfall?" To which my reply is... "actually each picture is a different waterfall my friend."
