For you mom!

We took this picture for you mom, and the rest of the family.  And no, I'm not pushing it out.  Plus, I worked out tonight, so I figured I'd better document it for proof.

Tribute to Jarek

I just found this picture in my camera and thought I would post it a little late.  When Jarek was here, we ordered this massive pizza and ate the whole thing!!  We can't wait til he comes back so we can do it again.  Shout to my bro. in the hizzity!!

"Morning Sickness"

Ok so I have no idea why my husband would take such a picture but since it is so descriptive, I had to put it on here anyway.  This was taken in December so I can laugh at it now.  It's been long enough.

Millard Falls

This picture above is the view from the hike, it's supposed to be at the end of this entry but I can't figure out how to move it.  And I'm not starting over.

Last Saturday, the weather was fantastic so we took advantage and went to a little waterfall close by.  I love the mountains!!!  Thanks Cody and Allison for coming, it was fun.

A Hidden person in this picture?

Yeah, so Hailey has been busy and unwilling to post lately therefore its up to me to spread the news on the internet (thanks to Al Gore I can do this.... And you thought he only invented global warming.  Thanks Al you are the man).  So if you can spot the hidden person in this picture you get a prize (not a real prize, just respect).  Actually I would be surprised if you could spot the extra person in this picture, because the person is inside Hailey's stomach (well not really her stomach, but I think you know what I mean.)  Yes Hailey is pregnant and is due on July 20th.  We are SUPER stolked.  We find out the gender in a few weeks. I'm sure one of us will keep you all posted... well... maybe. Anyway, that's all for now.

Rose Parade

On the day after the Rose Parade we went to see all the floats, they line them up at the end of the parade route and you have to pay to get in.  It was really awesome because everything on the float has to be completely made out of plant material (flowers, etc.).  It was incredible!!!  To see the different materials they used was awesome and to see how they made fur for the animals and the paste for the paintings (almonds, etc. in blenders for days before the parade starts).  Some of the floats cost up to one million dollars to make.  They were beautiful.

Jarek decided to go on an adventure with some friends and happened to be here with us for the parade escapade.
The photos just don't do them justice, even this whole house was made out of plant stuff.
Of course we had to stop for the Trojan Pride picture.  The two teams playing in the Rose Bowl get to have floats in the parade, it just happens to be USC this year.  (And we smoked them by the way)  Fight On!!!
Clayton's mom and brother John-Stephen came with us, the rest of the family will have to try next year, now that we know how to get there and where to park, and what to do with strollers.

Here is our city's float.  Go South Pasadena!
Welcome to sunny California, ha, ha!  Jarek didn't even bring a sweatshirt, so he got to wear my fashionable coat since I had on four layers.  (Yeah, I know, you can either call me a woose or prepared, take your pick.)
I have no idea how this robot stayed standing, it was so tall!  And yes, still made out of plant stuff.
OK, now these next three pictures are all of the same float.  Of course it is my favorite, I saw the dancers on the TV, they had on sari's and everything.

Yes, those are whole oranges lining the elephant's blanket.  Some people are so creative.
And there were so many more but I will spare you all the pictures.  You will just have to come with us next year!!!!

Disclaimer

Yeah, I know it's sad but we forgot our camera all through Christmas and New Year's and we forgot to download the pictures from family before they left, so we'll work on it but for now all we have to say is sorry but here is the family photog we took while we were there.  All 21 of us in one house, it was quite the adventure!
