May 26th

Retiro Park

Love these! They were delicious
Famous chocolate shop since the 1700s
and boy was it delicious. Spanish chocolate is not similar to our hot chocolate at all.
Then we finished off the night with some Flamenco dancing. It was awesome. We got some videos but I'm not posting them now, maybe later. It was really, really cool.

Great Day!!!

The Car Elevator

Our car
The entrance to our hotel parking lot
Inside the elevator
Definitely a highlight of the trip. And we thought parking was restricted in LA

Ciudad Real

The awesome blow dryer in our hotel. It looks like it's doing a fantastic job eh?
I'm not going to lie, I thought it was a vacuum in the bathroom at first
Palm trees in Spain
Day trip to Almagra
This little city is where we bought most of our souvenirs. Cute little tiny town
Back in Ciudad Real. Bea invited us over for lunch and she was a great cook. Everything was so good.
Tapas for dinner. Yum!
On our way home we passed a group that was playing traditional music and dancing in the square. They were teaching anyone who wanted to learn how to do the dance. But we had just eaten too much.

We didn't eat here but check out this English translation. Best one I've ever seen for sure
Another Almagra picture with a cross in the square, it must have been some St.'s day
...at least that's what we heard when we asked why the high school students were marching through the town streets back in Ciudad Real and playing horrible band music.
