My Sister is in town!

While Clayton was traveling the world my sister came to keep me company and we had so much fun. She brought her youngest who is two months younger than Anna and they liked to stare at each other a lot.
We went to use a gift card I had and found our dresses. I believe they were Prom dresses but they cost as much as my wedding dress.

Then after our shopping we needed a rest. Nothing like Baby Einstein to put you to sleep

The little terrorists
We headed to the Arboretum for free day with Mary too but I didn't get any pictures of Mary :( (Since all these pictures I stole from my sister's camera. Mary, I'm waiting for you to post your pictures so I can steal them too.)
The Catawampus
It was raining the whole time so we tried to put both these little kids in the stroller together. They didn't love it.
Then we came home and rested.
The next day we headed to the beach
Well, my daily sequence may be out of order but one of the days we loaded up the kids in the bike trailer and went for about a seven mile bike ride. They did great!
Then the last day, Lyndee was flying out of Long Beach so we headed down to Newport and Balboa Island.

Can't wait to do it all again! So much fun! Thanks for coming Lyndee!

Clayton's trip

Clayton's Ayuda trip this year was to Panama. I picked some of my favorite pictures for this post, who knows maybe he'll add some of his favorites later. But he had a wonderful time. He saw everything from the Panama canal to the Panama temple to wild bores, turkeys and the native people of Panama. What a neat experience. Oh how I love him. I wish I could have gone but we'll just have to save that for another decade in our lives.
Above are some of the children at the school where they spent most of their time. The children would carry their shoes to school and then wear them during school. Then they take them off for the hike through the jungle back home so they could keep them nice (if they had shoes that is)
Below is part of the hike the students (meaning Clayton and friends, not the little students) went on out through the jungle to varnish people's teeth and tell them there was a free clinic.
This is him at the Panama canal. He took videos of how it worked and it was actually really fascinating!
Some of the dancers in one of the restaurants

At the school
A friend touching the wild ox
A patient in the middle of his treatment
This is out in the middle of the jungle with the chief of the tribe
I promise it isn't torture, this just looks like it :)
Eating the coco bean plants. I guess it was really sweet and delicious
Snorkeling

The stop at the temple in Panama
And now he is back safe at home. We definitely missed him!
