Chicago!!

We went on one last hoorah out to see Clayton's brother John-Stephen
Us waiting for the water taxi to take us out to the architectural boat tour.
Here's John and our arriving taxi, then this is another group on the boat tour we were about to embark on.
The guide gave a really cool history of the buildings and the builders and the history of the city as we went down the river between the buildings.
The sears tower was massive, we didn't go inside to walk to the top but we floated past it.
Then we had to get some true Chicago deep dish pizza, the line was out and around the building but if you look closely you will find Clayton and John somewhere in there.
Next we toured the park down town and the famous bean, I can't remember what it is really called.
Next there were these big blocks that had water running down the faces and surprise, water shoots out of the person's mouth. A little crazy, but fun.

(Oh and Ashley set up all the decorations before heading to the hospital, crazy girl:)

We made Nicole demonstrate her awesome gift. Thanks Nicole!

Clinic in Nicaragua

So because the government of Costa Rica wouldn't allow us to do dental work in their country, we had to drive to Nicaragua and set up our clinic there. It was kind of last minute, but we got a hold of the church and we were able to use their building. These are just a few pictures of the clinic we had. by the way I am wearing my hat in this picture because if not I would have been sweating on the patient. 100 degrees 100% humidity!!!!!!!! That makes for a warm clinic.

When this little girl sat down on my table she was super nervous. I calmed her down and by the time I started drilling she was fine. She had some pretty bad teeth, but we were able to hook her up.

This picture was taken from the pulpit. It was a tiny chapel, but we fit even though it was super crowded. All in all it was an awesome clinic. We had lots of fun and we were able screen over 1260 people. We did over 350 restorations, and pulled as many teeth. The town was so grateful. They put us on the radio and a news crew came down from Managua (the capital of Nicaragua) to film us.

Costa Rica

So some pics from our AYUDA trip to Costa Rica. The first few days we stayed in a kind of resort town called La Fortuna, which is located just at the base of the Arenal Volcano. It was Beautiful! That is not a cloud at the top of the volcano, its actually smoke. Arenal is one of the worlds most active volcanoes. On the back side of the volcano on a clear night you can actually see lava flows. Unfortunately our excursion to the backside produced no results.

This is the view from the dinning area of the hotel.

While in La Fortuna we went to a canopy zipline. This is a video of what it was like. This video was towards the end of the ride. The other ziplines had a lot more jungle below.

This was the Tarzan swing they had in the middle of the canopy tour.

After the Canopy tour we went on a hike to this sweet waterfall, and then swam around for a while.
