Clayton's trip

Clayton's Ayuda trip this year was to Panama. I picked some of my favorite pictures for this post, who knows maybe he'll add some of his favorites later. But he had a wonderful time. He saw everything from the Panama canal to the Panama temple to wild bores, turkeys and the native people of Panama. What a neat experience. Oh how I love him. I wish I could have gone but we'll just have to save that for another decade in our lives.
Above are some of the children at the school where they spent most of their time. The children would carry their shoes to school and then wear them during school. Then they take them off for the hike through the jungle back home so they could keep them nice (if they had shoes that is)
Below is part of the hike the students (meaning Clayton and friends, not the little students) went on out through the jungle to varnish people's teeth and tell them there was a free clinic.
This is him at the Panama canal. He took videos of how it worked and it was actually really fascinating!
Some of the dancers in one of the restaurants

At the school
A friend touching the wild ox
A patient in the middle of his treatment
This is out in the middle of the jungle with the chief of the tribe
I promise it isn't torture, this just looks like it :)
Eating the coco bean plants. I guess it was really sweet and delicious
Snorkeling

The stop at the temple in Panama
And now he is back safe at home. We definitely missed him!

looks like a fun trip! So why the mohawk if he was going to wear a hat the whole time? did he burn his head to bad the first day and then have to hide it? :)
