We flew to Utah for a quick trip. Lots of fun family time, Keyan's farewell talk, and family pictures.

AYUDA trip
Unfortunately Clayton was gone for a few days while Keyan and my Mom were visiting. He went to Mexico with AYUDA for a couple days. He only brought back a few pictures from the trip.
I hear a rumor that he went surfing and almost got stuck in some rocks after the sun went down. Thank heavens he was ok and he came back safe.

Sept. 29-Oct. 6
Keyan's last hurrah before his mission. I'm so glad he chose to spend it with us.
We started out with a trip to the San Diego temple. It was only Keyan's second time. We had a great time, thanks to Clayton's cousin Buffy for babysitting for us.
Then we headed to the beach
Out to dinner at the fabulous restaurant that I love!

Anna was terrified by the noise, she was holding my phone that was playing her Clifford songs and that helped a little. Poor thing
When we got home, Anna was perfectly fine again. Happy to just read her books

The next day we went down to San Diego and saw one of the missions.
Then, we went straight to the LDS visitors center and learned about the Mormon Battalion.
Next, we headed downtown for Mom and Keyan to take a tour of the Naval Ship. The LOVED it.
All in all, we had such a fun time. Good luck on your mission Keyan, we will miss you.
