The Getty

Clayton and I took a trip over to the Getty before he was back in school and it was really nice. Here is the view of downtown LA.
A sample of artwork inside. I think this was my favorite
The cactus garden

The Gardens

Hansen family tribute from Clayton

The water started in this little hole at the beginning of this trench and came here to this little pool and then dripped down the hole in the middle into the picture above, then turned into a stream that ran all through the gardens and down into the pond at the bottom with the sculptured bushes. It was really cool.

They had these umbrellas for everyone to use as you walked through the gardens. I felt a little bit like I was in Japan?
To get there you had to park in a garage and then take a tram up through the hills to get to the museum there is no other way in our out. It was fun and this is the view from the tram of the 405 and the traffic we would hit on our way out. :( That's ok, it was worth it.
What a fun place
