Clayton got the job in Carlsbad!!!! We moved just a few days before we left for Idaho. We didn't take any pictures, unfortunately, but we had lots of help. Clayton's parents, and John-Stephen both came to help as well as the Rudelich's. They all came with us and the moving truck all the way to Carlsbad. It was a 3 hour drive from South Pas because of the weekend traffic headed to San Diego. Several people in the ward came and helped us load the truck and clean our apartment. (I wasn't much help as a pregnant girl, but I did my best.) Thank you everyone. We really, really, really appreciate it. We stopped at Clayton's grandma's house on the way down too.
Our apartment is a two bedroom, two bath in a condo community. It is above the garages, and there are only three units attached together. We have a community pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. It is really nice and the neighborhood is really quiet and friendly. The weather is fabulous.
This is the view out the back from our living room. This little guy was on the inside of the window screen one day. I scooped him up in the dust pan and let him out the screen door onto the porch. Never saw him again.
Carlsbad is beautiful.
