Jarek is finished working out here for the summer. He had his last weekend here so he hung out with us for the day and we headed to the La Brea Tar Pits in LA. It's a cool place and it smells like road construction. The tar just seeps up through the ground in this area. They made a museum and you can walk around and look at all the stuff that gets stuck in it. But they have found all sorts of fossilled animals here. (Yes, I know, that's not a word ok)
I'm not really quite sure what this was but it was cool to look at. If you can tell by the look on Jarek's face, he doesn't know what it is either
That poor elephant is stuck, can't someone help it? Just look at the terror on the baby elephant's face. Tragic
Anna just started reaching for things and she reaches for everything now. It is kind of fun to see what is actually interesting to her.
